How A-Living handles cancellations, date changes and refunds. Your confirmed reservation carries the exact policy for your stay. Last updated 9 July 2025.

Plans change. This page sets out when a reservation can be refunded, how a date change is treated and how long an approved refund takes to reach you.

Cancelling more than 30 days before check-in

Reservations cancelled more than 30 days before the check-in date may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the residence and the rate booked. The policy attached to your confirmed reservation is the one that applies.

Cancelling within 30 days of check-in

Reservations cancelled within 30 days of the check-in date are non-refundable.

Changing your dates

Amendments can be requested by email and are subject to availability. Where the new dates carry a different rate, the difference will be applied. A date change is not a cancellation, so the original cancellation window continues to apply.

Refund timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank transfers typically take 7–14 working days to clear through the sending and receiving banks.

Security deposits

The refundable security deposit taken at check-in is handled separately from the reservation rate and is returned after check-out, less any deductions for damage, extra cleaning or missing items.

No-shows and early departures

Unused nights are non-refundable where notice falls outside the reservation’s cancellation window.

Exceptional circumstances

If a serious event outside your control prevents your stay, contact our reservations team as early as possible with supporting documentation. We will review the circumstances alongside the terms attached to your reservation and respond fairly.
